Born in Bangkok in 1979. Started shooting as a self-taught photographer in 2008 influenced by an Elliott Erwitt's book and a comedy movie called Pecker. His works have been shown widely both in Thailand and abroad such as IPA Street Photography Asia Award 2013, Miami Street Photography Festival 2013, Xishuangbana Photo Festival 2014, Photo Bangkok Festival 2015, Singapore Photo Festival 2016, NYC Art Book Fair 2016. SIGNS his zine is also collected by Franklin Furnace Archive and MoMA Library. He co-founded Street Photo Thailand collective, founded Good Art Book, and CTypeMag. Currently Akkara works as a software engineer, has one adorable daughter, and spends his a little bit free time for photography.

Tachpasit Kunaporn

Born and raised in Phuket. Young Tachpasit aged 18 years came to Bangkok and studied the Bachelor of Communication Arts, Bangkok University. After graduation he lived in Australia for a while and came back to Thailand to live in monkhood one and half years. His dream is being a photographer so he started walking in this path by being a freelance photographer for 2 years and decided to study photography in the International Center of Photography (ICP), New York. Neon Diary is a well known series of him depicting life and death by flickering of neon lights related to the passing away of his grandmother — mysterious and quite dark, also inserted various lights and random shapes make it interesting and ambiguous. His works have been shown in Thailand, New York, and Taipei. Now Tachpasit works as a wedding photojournalist and still creates personal projects continuously.
